Les Miserable

I got my hot little hands on some photos of Josh in les Miserables. He played Marius who basically gets to sing with all the cute girls in the play :)
Josh was awesome in the musical; even with a cold!

Festival of Trees

My sisters and I did the Festival of Trees again this year. I use the term "I" loosely here. My sisters put alot of work into planning and executing the tree-making. I pretty much show up and cut the wire and pick up the garbage. They are much more creative than I. Let the pros handle it, right? The tree sold and I was so excited because there were quite a few that didn't. I always say that I won't do it again because I'm not a real decorator type person and it takes all day to do it, but then when I get there, the time flies and it is so much fun to reconnect with my sisters.

The Pigs Have Flown to Our House!

Yup! We have the dreaded swine flu at our house. Spencer was tested positive for H1N1. Some of us have been sick before him, so we can only assume that we had it also. Megan has also started with it. So currently the lucky program winners who have not been sick are Samantha and Lauren!
This comes as a bad time as it is the end of the quarter next week for the Bigs.
Other news, Josh is busy with play practice. Anyone interested is Les Mis, it is November 19-23.
Chris is always busy working deals, so we are really grateful that the recession hasn't really affected us much. I just finished recording with my women's singing group. We wanted to put together a Christmas demo for LDS church. We are all hanging in there, but I will be glad when the Littles are back on track and the Sickies are back at school and well.

Catching up with the B-Banks

Wow! Time is going so fast! I can't believe we are almost done with May! Here are some updates:
Amy- I just joined a women's choral group last week. I am their accompanist. My friend from the old ward, Marci Vanwagoner, asked me. We had our first practice last week. I am glad I am actually doing something for me. I guess that is what you get to do when you get older. :)

Chris- work is going great. He just signed some deals with DowJones, Mastercard and some others. He is working hard to keep our acre beautiful.

Josh- He is auditioning right now for Les Miserables that Riverton High will be doing in the fall. He is excited to start his Pharmacy Tech program next year. He is currently looking for a job.

Spencer- Working on getting more equipment for his band. He is mad at his parents for not getting him out driving more. Will also be looking for a job in July.

Megan-Her art was displayed at the South Hills schools' art show. She just finished her first pair of pajama pants in sewing class.

Samantha- Just finished her school's production of Mary Poppins. She was one of the maids and was hilarious. She can hardly wait to get out of Primary. Only two more weeks!!

Lauren-She was also in Mary Poppins. She is halfway through her soccer schedule. She is really enjoying it.

Charlotte- She is finishing up her Kindergarten year. She is very excited that next week she gets to try school lunch with her class. She is also playing soccer and is one of the lead scorers on her team.

Ethan- He enjoys preschool and playing in the dirt-nuff said.

Well hopefully this will get everyone caught up on what is going on with us. If anyone wants to visit, you can check out our 2,500 gallon water tank. Yeah, I'm not kidding!

Happy Anniversary!

We have been married 19 years today! That has gone by so fast that I can't believe it! I am married to a wonderful man who makes me smile everyday. I love to hear his famous jokes he repeats over and over or his faces he pulls at the children. I love his strong spiritual nature and the care he shows to his widowed mother. I am thankful each day for the kindness and patience he shows toward me. He is the best!

When it rains it pours!

Wow! When it rains it pours! I am referring to all the illness and little things you have to take care of with your kids. Josh- today he has to go to the dermatologist to get a biopsy taken of his fingernail to see if he has melanoma or a mole that is coloring his nail. Spencer- had to take him in this week to the podiatrist to take care of a plantar wart that hasn't gone away with two previous treatments. Megan- fallen arches and went to the same podiatrist. Had to pay $40 for a pair of inserts that she has to wear in her shoes all the time. Samantha- nothing, thank goodness! Lauren- still recovering from her pneumonia. Charlotte- took her in to the dr. this week. She has bronchitis. Ethan- took him in to the dr. a few days later. He has a sinus infection. And now to top off this glorious week, I'm sick too!! Wonderful, isn't it?

Finally!

Yes, we finally have a blog! I know it is a bit scary, but I love reading my sister's blogs and actually knowing what is going on in their lives. I think it will be lots of fun!:)
